PlantMiner PM Rewards Terms and Conditions

The PM Rewards prgram ("Program") is offered to PlantMiner customers at the sole discretion of PlantMiner Pty Ltd, and is open only to individuals who are eighteen (18) years of age and older, have a valid email adress, and have enrolled in the Program by creating an account via PlantMiner.com.au or PlantMiner.co.nz. By participating in the Program, Members can earn PM Reward points ("PM Rewards points" or "Points") for hiring through a vendor listed on PlantMiner.com.au and redeem available Points for certain rewards, subject to these Terms and Conditions and the availability of eligible reward items. In order to earn PM Reward points, a hire transaction must be completed between a searcher and a PlantMiner vendor. This means that you, or other hirers listed on your PlantMiner quote request form, must be the person hiring plant, equipment, or subcontractor services you requested individually or as a part of your project package for which you paid. The hire transaction must be completed and finlised and points will be rewarded to your PM Rewards account when the transaction is processed between you and an eligible PlantMiner vendors. The terms "you" and "your" throughout these Terms and Conditions refer to any Member and any PlantMiner user eligible to particiate in the Program. 

Membership in PM Rewards is void if prohibited by law in the state or country of the Member's residence, and subject to change as may be necessary to comply with such laws or regulations. 

PlantMiner may at its sole discretion modify any of the Terms and Conditions governing the Program - including, but not limited to, the rules for earning and redeeming PM Reward points, the expiration policy for Points and the products and services on which Points may be earned and redeemed - at any time, with or without notice, even though these changes may affect your ability to use Points or benefits you have already earned. PlantMiner reserves the right in its sole discretion to disquality PM Rewards Member it finds to be tampering with the operation of the Program or to be acting in violation of these Terms and Conditions or in a fraudulent or deceptive manner. Any attempt by and PM Rewards Member to undermine the legitimate operation of the Program may be a violation of criminal and civil law, and, should such an attempt be made, PlantMiner reserves the right to seek damages from any such person to the fullest extend permitted by law. Failure by PlantMiner to enforce and of the Terms & Conditions shall not consitiute a waiver of that provision. PlantMiner makes no guarantees, warranties, or representations of any kind concerning the program. 

You release PlantMiner and its affiliates and partners from all liability regarding the earning, redemption, and use of PM Reward points, including any rewards that, after receipt, may be lost, stolen or destroyed. PlantMiner vendors are in no way affiliated with or responsible for PM Rewards Program administration. 

The Program has no predetermined termination date and may continue until such time as PlantMiner decides to terminate the Program. PlantMiner may terminate the Program at any time. Upon termination, you will have thirity (30) days from the date Program termination is annouced to use available PM Reward points remaining in your account. After that date, any Points will be forfeited without compensation. 

Your continued participation in the Program constitutes your acceptance of any changes to the Terms and Conditions. You are responsible for remaining knowledgable as to any changes that PlantMiner may make to these Terms and Conditions. The most current version of these Terms and Conditions will be available on the website at www.plantminer.com.au/pmrewards and will supersede all previous versions of these Terms and Conditions. 

Enrollment

You must have an account on PlantMiner.com.au or PlantMiner.co.nz in order to enroll in Plantminer Rewards. To earn PM Reward points for hiring from a vendor listed on PlantMiner, you must be an enrolled Member of PM Rewards prior to hiring from the PlantMiner vendor, and be signed in to your Account prior to transaction. If you are confirming a transaction verbally to a PlantMiner staff member over the phone, you must disclose these details to the PlantMiner employee. No Points will be earned for hire transactions made on PlantMiner when you are not signed in to your Account.

As an enrolled Member of the PM Rewards Program, you will receive regular account servicing updates by email. Members may opt out of participation in the Program from the PM Rewards Activity page in your PlantMiner PM Rewards account. Your ability to earn and redeem PlantMiner reward points will be suspended after you opt out. If you opt out of Program participation, you will no longer have access to your account statement information, no Plantminer points will accumulate on future hire requests, and any accumulated PlantMiner points will be unavailable for redemption. Any Points in your Account at the time of opting out will expire fourteen (14) days from your opt-out date.

Earning Points

After making an eligible hire transaction, the anticipated amount of PM Rewards points to be awarded will be held in pending status. As mentioned above, "completed confirmed hire transaction" means that you must have hired through a vendor listed on PlantMiner, for which you have paid and confirmed and the PlantMiner vendor must also confirm the transaction. Pending PM Rewards points are not available for redemption usage.

Points will move from pending to available status after completion of a Quote Request form. Once in available status, PM Rewards points are eligible to be used by the Member for redemption purposes. The amount of pending PM Rewards points calculated at the time of quote request is based on the details of quote request completed. Changes or cancellations to the quote request may result in differences between the estimated amount of pending points calculated and the ultimate amount of points that post to the Member's Account for that quote request.  

PlantMiner reserves the right to rescind at any time any pending or available PM Rewards points that were earned or awarded for unhired items. Points earned pursuant to fraudulent, sham or falsified information will be rescinded by PlantMiner.

PlantMiner has the right to monitor all Member Account activity. If your PM Rewards Account shows signs of fraud, abuse, or suspicious activity, PlantMiner may close or freeze your Account immediately, and you may lose your accrued PM Rewards points. If you have conducted any fraudulent activity, PlantMiner reserves the right to take any necessary legal action and may have grounds to confiscate any rewards redeemed as a result of such activity. In addition, you may be liable for monetary losses to PlantMiner, including litigation costs and damages, and you will not be allowed to participate in PM Rewards in the future. Hire transactions discovered to be fraudulent will have their PM Rewards points rescinded, and the Account associated with such fraudulent confirmed transactons will be frozen from further Rewards Point earning or redemption activity. To contest freezing of an account or the rescinding of PM Rewards points, please call 1300 550 434.

If your Account does not represent the correct number of PM Rewards points that you should have been awarded as determined by PlantMiner, PlantMiner reserves the right to augment or decrement your Point balance. If you believe your Account has been the subject of any suspicious activity, please contact the PlantMiner Service Centre immediately. If it is determined you have been the victim of a fraud, the Points you have earned may be transferred to a new Account.

Rewards Point accumulation and redemption activity can be accessed on your PM Rewards Activity page. PM Rewards points and rewards have no cash value and may not be traded or redeemed for cash. PM Rewards points may not be assigned, sold, transferred, and/or pledged to any third party. You have no property rights or other legal interests in PM Rewards points. You are responsible for any personal tax liability that may be related to participation in PM Rewards and redemption of any rewards.

If a Member believes he or she did not receive the correct amount of PM Rewards points for a confirmed transaction, the Member must contact PlantMiner Customer Service at 1300 550 434 within thirty (30) days from the confirmed transaction. PlantMiner will make the final determination as to whether Points adjustments of any kind are justified for the travel in question. In no event will any PM Rewards points manually be moved from pending to available status sooner than after completion of a confirmed transaction.

PlantMiner Items elgible for Earning PM Rewards points

Earn up to 100 PM Rewards points for every confirmed transacation via PlantMiner through a vendor listed on PlantMiner, when signed into your account. Points are awarded depending on the value of the confirmed transaction, confirmed transactionpoints table below. 

After hiring from a single vendor three (3) times the rewards earned from further transactions with this particular vendor will be capped and the individual will no longer be able to earn rewards points from confirmed trasacations with this particular vendor. After the six (6) month period, where the points earnt from confirmed transactions with this vendor will expire, the individual can once again start earning rewards points from hiring through this vendor for up to three (3) confirmed transactions. 

Point Posting/Reconciliation

As noted above, the anticipiated amount of PM Rewards points to be awarded are held in pending status until a confirmed transaction is completed and confirmed by a PlantMiner vendor. See chart below for length of time it may take for points to move from pending to available status:

 

Bonus points and confirmed hire transactions

Confirmed hire transactions - 14 days from offline hire transaction between PM Rewards account holder and PlantMiner hire vendor.

 Confirmed Transaction Points Offer

Points for confirmed transactions will be awarded when a PM Rewards account holder confirm a hire transaction ("Confirmed transaction") through an Active PlantMiner hire vendor. Points are awarded depending on the dollar value of the confirmed transaction. See below table which outlines the value of points to be awarded for transactions.

Points will appear in accounts once both parties (searcher and vendor) confirm the transaction with a PlantMiner Staff Member. All applicable terms and conditions associated with the specific Confirmed Transaction points must be met before they will appear in your account. Offers are limited to the offer recipient and are not transferable. Points are not redeemable for cause and void where prohibited by law.   

Bonus Points Offer

From time to time, PlantMiner may offer opportunities to earn additional bonus PM Reward points. All applicable terms and conditions associated with the specific bonus offer must be met in order to earn bonus PM Rewards points for your confirmed transaction. Bonus PM Rewards points will be posted to your Account as pending at time of confirmed transaction, and will move to available status after the transaction has been confirmed by both PlantMiner vendor and searcher. PM Rewards points offers apply to changed confirmed transactions as long as the changed confirmed transactions still meets all requirements and conditions of the offer. Bonus point offers do not apply to cancelled confirmed transactions. Offers are limited to the offer recipient and are not transferable. Point offers are not redeemable for cash. Void where prohibited by law.

Points Expiration

PM Rewards points will be valid for a six (6) month period, commencing from the date of the qualifying confirmed transaction through a PlantMiner vendor. After the six (6) month period the PM reward points will expire and will no longer be valid for use, resetting your reward bank to zero (0). "Qualifying confirmed transaction or redemption activity" means a PM Rewards-eligible confirmed transaction which has been hired and points have been confirmed, or redemption of a PM Reward through your Account. All points in your Account will expire after a period of six (6) months. Once expired, PM Rewards points will not be reinstated.

Point Redemption 

Rewards cannot be redeemed for cash and have no cash value. Rewards cannot be combined with any other certificates, coupons, discounts, upgrades, awards, or promotions. Rewards are offered as promotional items and are void if sold for cash or other consideration, or if altered or copied, and cannot be reissued if destroyed, lost or stolen. Rewards are not valid where prohibited by law.

In order to qualify for a reward, a Member must have a sufficient amount of available PM Reward points in his or her Account to redeem for the full cost of the reward in points. Pending PlantMiner points cannot be used toward reward redemption. Members need to select prize via their account and someone from PlantMiner will be in touch via your PlantMiner account listed phone and/or email to arrange the processing/shipping of their reward. All redemptions are final and may not be cancelled. Individual reward item Terms and Conditions may apply in which PlantMiner has no endorsment or association with.
